La Mûre Cabernet – Barrel Aged Saison with Blackberries and Cabernet Grapes. This saison was conditioned for several years and months in red wine barrels using a blend of our saison brune base (Bonsoir Lune) and a touch of our aged hopped golden saison base (Melange). We blended and took the saison blend and conditioned atop of whole Blackberries and unfermented Cabernet grape juice. The flavors merry in unison beautifully with big blackberry notes upfront with a juicy red wine presence adding further depth to this complex liquid. The saison base carries each fruit with grace peaking its head with vanilla barrel notes and a touch a dried fruit flavor in the finish. Drinks bubbly and with juicy fruit and nuanced yeast character. We’re extremely excited to release this project today, 3 bottles per person.
