The winners of the 2019 Great American Beer Festival‘s annual beer competition were announced this morning and we’re stoked that ten awesome Los Angeles breweries are taking home medals this year!
The GABF competition is put on by the Brewer’s Association and is one of the most competitive and highly acclaimed of all the beer competitions in the United States. As a brewery, being recognized for your beer at this level is a great honor and is no easy feat. This year saw 9,497 different beers brewed by 2,295 different breweries being judged across 107 different categories. No walk in the park! Here’s the list of LA brewery winners:

Congratulations to all the winners and participating breweries. While winning a medal at GABF is a great accomplishment, it is by no means a prerequisite for brewing great beer. So while you’re out there drinking some of these 2019 GABF award-winning beers around Los Angeles, you should also be purchasing beers from the dozens of other awesome LA breweries out there as well.
