Welcome to episode one of the brand new HOPTALK podcast by Hopped LA. HOPTALK is our exploration into the behind-the-scenes world of Los Angeles craft beer from conversations with the people that brew, serve, and drink it.
In episode one, Gary sits down with Jimmy Han from Beer Belly and Frances Lopez from the Los Angeles County Brewers Guild on the back patio of Beer Belly in Koreatown. This conversation happened during the release party of our 2019 LA Brewers Shirt and revolved around Jimmy and Franny’s unique perspectives discovering craft beer, their experiences within the craft beer community as it has evolved in Los Angeles, where craft beer is at and where we’d like to see it go.
