With just one sip, this beer instantly became one of the best beers I’ve ever had!
Orange Julian is a 6.8% Hazy IPA from Cellarmaker Brewing in San Francisco with artwork paying homage to the West Coast sensibilities of Beachwood Brewing’s Julian Shrago.
On the pour, you get what I call Cellarmaker-style haze, a milky pale orange with bright cantaloupe hues. The aromas bursts with frothy fresh-squeezed tangerine and orange juice with a restrained vanilla creamy sweetness.
The taste follows suit with bright juicy ripe orange and tangerine with bits of creamy vanilla all wrapped up on a perfectly medium creamy body.
This Hazy IPA hits my all-time top 5 list, it’s in a category all its own, and the only negative thing I can say is that I wish I had more than just one can!
