Our introduction to Southern California’s newest brewery is a good old fashioned, true-to-style, German-inspired lagerbier. This brilliant gold, noble hopped 5.2% beauty comes to us from Radiant Beer Company down in Anaheim, CA.
From the colorful can to the clean and crispy finish, Radiant’s coming out of the gates swinging HARD, and boy do they deliver. This lager, which is kind of a cross between a Helles and a Pilsner, drinks remarkably bright with notes of fresh grass, earthy herbs, a kick of noble hop bitterness, and just enough cracker malt sweetness to balance the whole thing out.
Recommission is the definition of drinkable and we highly recommend seeking it out and checking out the rest of Radiant Beer Company’s beers.
